Sanremo will host a latte art competition in Sydney on 9 December.
Event organisers anticipate more than 150 people to attend the smackdown, with the aim for coffee industry members to meet and greet new and old friends.
Generous sponsors will contribute more than $2000 dollars in prizes for the winners, including Pauls Professional, Bombora Coffee and Water Supplies, Barista Technology, Puq Press and many more.

Brazil pulped natural Cup of Excellence sets all-time record
All lots from Brazil’s pulped natural Cup of Excellence (COE) competition were sold at auction within the first eight minutes on 28 November.
Producer Gabriel Nunes of winning lot Fazenda Bom Jardim received almost US$100,000 (about $131,915) for 793 pounds of coffee and now holds the all-time record for a COE price.

Five Senses hosted one of its largest Curated Cupping events to date across Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth on 30 November.
The event, the last one of its kind for the year at Five Senses’ Training Academies, was themed on World Coffee Research’s (WCR) Sensory Lexicon 2.0, a global language for describing coffee flavour.

Veneziano Coffee Roasters’ Jack Allisey to compete in World Coffee Roasting Championship
Jack Allisey of Veneziano Coffee Roasters will be the first Australian to compete in the World Coffee Roasting Championship, taking place from 12 to 14 December in Guangzhou, China.
Jack won the inaugural Australian Roasting Championship at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) in March.
