Melbourne Coffee Week day two to include cold brew masterclass and more

Day two of Melbourne Coffee Week, 5 February, will see three coffee industry events held in the lead up to the 2019 Melbourne International Coffee Expo from 7 to 9 February. From 9am until 10am, Rumble Coffee Roasters and First Press Coffee will partner to host a cold brew and cold drip masterclass at Rumble’s Kensington roastery.

Melbourne Coffee Week to return in 2019

The Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) has announced that Melbourne Coffee Week will again be held in 2019, from 4 to 9 February. Melbourne Coffee Week aims to reinvest back into the coffee community and help grow organisations and industries, give local business owners a chance to increase brand recognition and weekly trade by promoting their event to thousands of coffee lovers, and celebrate Melbourne’s coffee culture.

Australian Brewers Cup and Cup Tasters Championship on this weekend

A jam-packed calendar of coffee competitions continues in Melbourne Coffee Week with two national coffee championship events taking place from 11 – 12 March at Veneziano Coffee Roasters. On 11 March the Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) will host the Australian Brewers Cup Championship Open Heats from 10am – 5pm.

Melbourne Coffee Week kicks off

Melbourne Coffee Week is official underway, with the first of the week-long celebration of coffee events starting with the Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) Coffee In Good Spirits Championship (CIGS). From 6 – 10pm on 10 March, the coffee community is invited upstairs to the Panama Dining Room in Melbourne’s Fitzroy to see baristas creating coffee based cocktails, while enjoying a drink themselves.
