Australian food personality and cook Justine Schofield has been announced as The Coffee Club’s new National Food Ambassador.

The Coffee Club General Manager of Marketing Greg Bowell says Justine was the natural choice for the inaugural position, not only because she is well respected by her peers, but because her TV show Everyday Gourmet embodies all that The Coffee Club stands for.

“Her commitment and passion for serving wholesome, flavoursome and nutritional food with a twist really fits well with our brand values. The fact that she is a lover of all things coffee is really an added bonus,” Greg said.

Following the success of Justine’s first cookbook Dinner with Justine, the self-confessed caffeine addict says she is relishing her new role, and had been busy behind the scenes collaborating with The Coffee Club’s passionate food team.

“I can’t reveal exactly what we’ve been working on just yet, but needless to say I’m excited to be back in the kitchen and sharing my love of food with even more Australians,” she said.

As one of the most popular contestants to come out of series one of MasterChef in 2009, Justine has gone on to built a successful career within Australian’s food and media industry.

“My food philosophy is centred around great ingredients, a healthy dose of adventure, an appetite to learn and perhaps most importantly, being surrounded by friends and family to share the spoils,” she said. “Food brings people together – and for me, The Coffee Club is synonymous with catching up with loved ones whether it’s for a quick cup of coffee or settling in for a relaxing and enjoyable bite to eat.”

Greg says The Coffee Club’s team is thrilled to have Justine on-board in what is the first partnership of its kind for the franchise chain.

“As our first official Food Ambassador, we’re confident our customers will be equally impressed by what she brings to the table,” Greg said. “Justine’s involvement will add another layer of culinary flare to The Coffee Club’s offering – and coupled with our team of passionate chefs – it’s a winning recipe.”

More details regarding Justine’s collaboration with The Coffee Club will be released in the coming months.
