The best specialty coffee talent in Australia will be on display at the national finals for the Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) Coffee Championships 2022 from 18 to 20 August at the Meat Market in North Melbourne.
Regional champions and coffee professionals will step on stage to compete for the podium positions and ultimately the national Championship titles, to go on to represent Australia at the World Coffee Championships.
Over three days of competition, competitors will progress through open heats, semi finals and onto finals for the Vitasoy Australian Barista Championship, De’Longhi Australian Brewers Cup Championship, Australian Cup Tasting Championship, and Australian Latte Art Championship.
ASCA says after years of lockdown, it’s excited to welcome the offee community back to cheer on the champs. The event is open to the public with specialty coffee flowing for all to enjoy.
The Association thanks all of its 2022 Coffee Championship partners that have supported the Australian specialty coffee community and made it possible to run the events.
