Tickets are selling out fast for Minas Hill Coffee’s Our farmers, Our heroes panel discussion to be held at Au79 in Abbotsford, Victoria on 4 February from 6pm to 10pm.
Minas Hill Coffee has flown in its farming partners from Brazil to discuss topics including sustainability, transparency and women in coffee with prominent members of the Australian coffee industry.
Panellists include producers Ismael Andrade of Andrade Bros Estate, Gabriel Oliveira of Bom Jesus, and Pedro Gabarra of Santo Antonio farm as well as Melanie Mokken of Utz and Rainforest Alliance Australia, Joe Molloy of Rumble Coffee Roasters, and Tina Wendel of the Flowers in Action Project and 23 Degrees coffee roasters.
BeanScene MagazineEditor Sarah Baker will moderate the discussion, which will also touch on the international coffee price, processing, economics, and social projects.

Minas Hill says the panel will help different ends of the supply chain understand each other, the existing situation, and how they can network within the coffee community to find solutions.
To conclude the dialogue, the panel open to the audience for Q&A sessions.
Following the discussion, Minas Hill will hold an informal gathering for further conversation, networking, drinks, music and nibbles.
