Toby’s Estate Brooklyn has rebranded as Partners Coffee, officially parting ways with Toby’s Estate Australia effective 6 April.
Partners Coffee says its comprehensive rebrand reflects the American company’s roots in Brooklyn, New York.
“It has been a pleasure working with the Toby’s Brooklyn team in the US,” says Jody Leslie, General Manager of Toby’s Estate Australia. “We fully support and wish them all the best with their independent future.”

Partners Coffee opened its first location in Brooklyn in 2012 under the licensed name Toby’s Estate Coffee Roasters, has five cafés located across New York City and a nationwide wholesale business in the US.
Partners Coffee worked with New York-Based creative agency Love and War to update the company’s packaging and in-store branding in tandem with the new name.
Co-owner of Partners Coffee Adam Boyd, Amber Jacobsen and Toby Smith are set to unveil the brands new identity at the Speciality Coffee Expo in Boston, from 11 April to 14 April.
“We are so grateful for the wonderful working relationship we have had with Toby’s Estate Australia for the past seven years,” says Amber.
Adam says, “While we are excited to embark on a new chapter as Partners, we look forward to maintaining our mutual respect for years to come.”
While Partners Coffee builds its business in the US, Toby’s Estate Australia serves more than 800 locations, aiming to continue its global expansion from its Australia base.
