Victoria Arduino has presented the new Eagle One coffee machine in a worldwide preview at the Italian Manufacturer Art and Design Exhibition in London, on 19 September.
Italian architect Giulio Cappellini customised and signed the machine specifically for the occasion and presented the Eagle One alongside former World Barista Champion James Hoffmann.
“Baristas need compact equipment, that is ergonomic and easy to use, but also capable of producing high volumes of very high-quality drinks. That shouldn’t come at the expense of energy efficiency though,” James says in a statement.
Giulio’s customised machine used wooden recycled materials dipped in an ecological resin to promote the brand’s focus on sustainability.
Victoria Arduino’s history and the modern demand for compact, ergonomic and sustainable machines have inspired the Eagle One’s shape. Materials used to create the machine have been specifically chosen to reduce CO2 emissions and reduce energy costs.
“The heart of the machine, the new engine is smaller but at the same time able to delivery great performance with a reduction of energy consumption,” James says.
