Victoria Arduino has announced the official launch of its next espresso machine, the Eagle One, on 19 September at the Saatchi Gallery in the United Kingdom.

Architect Giulio Cappellini and 2007 World Barista Champion James Hoffmann will reveal the new machine during a special event during the Italian Manufacturer Art and Design Exhibition.

Victoria Arduino will stream the launch from 11.30 am London time on its Instagram page @victoriaarduino1905.

The manufacturer calls Eagle One the most sustainable machine of its category.

London was chosen for the launch due to being the home of James Hoffmann, who was involved in Eagle One project, and one of the target markets of the energy efficient machine. Victoria Arduino says London is a city where many cafés are in small spaces and must be careful of their energy consumption.

“Baristas need compact equipment, that is ergonomic and easy to use, but also capable of producing high volumes of very high-quality drinks. That shouldn’t come at the expense of energy efficiency though,” Hoffman says.

“In Eagle One, this is what drives the design. The machine is simple and compact, and able to respond to the new needs of the latest generation of coffee shops. The heart of the machine, the new engine [called NEO, New Engine Optimisation], is smaller but at the same time able to delivery great performance with a reduction of energy consumption.”
