Almond Breeze Barista Blend is giving baristas, roasters and cafés the opportunity to decide its new packaging design. The winning suggestion will win $10,000 for themselves, and $10,000 for their favourite café.
Almond Breeze Barista Blend has been developing new packaging with leading baristas from all over the world for the past nine months to ensure it meets the mark in design, as it does with taste.
Sticking with Blue Diamond’s signature blue the proposed packaging designs balance subtle craft with a simpler aesthetic to create a sophisticated and authentic look.
We want the new packaging to fit the authenticity of our Barista Blend brand and support Australia’s thriving coffee culture,” says Mike McNulty, Country Director for Almond Breeze Australia & New Zealand.
The Australian café scene is dominated by small, independent businesses. Coffee chains only make up 5 per cent of the market. We want to make sure we are appealing to those individual and homegrown cafés.”
