Australian coffee franchise Zarraffa’s Coffee is opening a new drive through store in Pialba this week as part of the brand’s wider plans to expand in Queensland.
The new store will be owned and operated by Pialba locals Bec and Chris Bee who also introduced a Zarraffa’s Coffee store to Hervey Bay in 2009.
The new drive through will form part of a recently developed service centre that also contains a Mobil petrol station.
“We have long held a desire to operate a drive through store in our hometown, understanding the need for greater convenience and now locals will be spoilt for choice,” says Bec.
“Serving up our handcrafted coffee to more people, both in-store and on-the-go, is another chapter in our 11-year journey with Zarraffa’s.”
Marnie Sheldon, Zarraffa’s Coffee CEO, says Bec and Chris have worked hard to build a solid business in Hervey Bay and is proud to see them take this next step.
While Zarraffa’s Coffee has continued to contract new stores within shopping centres over the past two years, the brand seeks to move away from these locations as part of its expansion.
“After introducing our drive through model over a decade ago, we have been keen to increase our store footprint in suburban areas, servicing locals with specialty coffee that is easy to access,” says Marnie.
Zarraffa’s Coffee has plans to open two more stores before the end of the year.
“After weathering the effects of COVID across our territories, it’s a great feeling to be able to implement our expansion plans across Queensland, New South Wales, and Western Australia,” Marnie says.
Zarraffa’s Coffee Pialba is located at Shop 2, 12 Boat Harbour Drive, Pialba Queensland.
