Ona Coffee and Devour Cafe in Adelaide will host a Coffee Talk event with 2018 Australian Brewers Cup Champion Heath Dalziel and 2015 World Barista Champion (WBC, Saša Šestić on 30 April.
Heath will talk to the audience about his journey to Australian Brewers Cup Champion. Eighteen months ago Heath had barely any filter coffee knowledge yet won one of the most coveted coffee trophies at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) in March.
On the night, Heath will brew carbonic macerated coffees from Ona Coffee’s Project Origin CM Selection series, from which he brewed on stage at the Australian Specialty Coffee Association Australian Brewers Cup Final.
Ona Coffee Founder Saša Šestić will be signing copies of his book, The Coffee Man: Journal of a World Barista Champion, published in 2017. He will also speak about his coffee journey and where new developments are taking the coffee world.
Since winning the WBC, Saša has worked closely with coffee-producing countries and communities. He purchased his own coffee farms and continues to develop new coffee processing techniques.
The Coffee Talk will take place from 6.30pm at Devour Cafe, 52 Davenport Tce in Adelaide on Monday 3o April.
