Coffee roaster Allpress is teaming up with Playfair Golf and TaylorMade to unveil the Shots and Shanks putt-putt café at the ISPS HANDA Australian Open golf tournament from 30 November to 3 December 2023.
Taking place at The Australian Golf Club and The Lakes Golf Club in Sydney, New South Wales, Allpress has partnered with TaylorMade to offer exclusive giveaways to the winners of the putting challenge collaboration with Playfair Golf. Participants will have to navigate a giant Allpress reusable cup and a full-sized La Marzocco espresso machine to top the hotly contested leader board.
“Playfair, Sydney’s leading indoor golf studio, is all about opening up the beautiful game of golf through a new culture of enjoyment, as golf enjoys a major resurgence across the country” says Brittney Manunui, Allpress Creative Project Manager.
“Shots and Shanks is not just about competition; it’s a celebration of the unique intersection of coffee and golf culture.”
The Shots and Shanks café will feature Allpress’ signature offering, including specialty coffee brewed through La Marzocco machinery, batch brew for filter lovers, and free samples of the new range of iced specialty coffee cans for a grab-and-go experience. Exclusive Playfair and Allpress merchandise will also be available for enthusiasts to collect.
Participants who putt the lowest scores will have the opportunity to take home limited edition TaylorMade and Allpress Soft Response golf balls and a chance to win one of four coveted Spider GTX putters, courtesy of TaylorMade.
