The Almond Breeze Latte Art Video Challenge (LAVC) is now open for entries.

This is the first time Almond Breeze has attempted to recreate the success of its Breezey Masters events in the online world.

The LAVC will allow Australian baristas to go head to head with the best in the business from Japan, South Africa and the United Kingdom for the chance to be included into the final of the Breezey Masters, taking place this year in Melbourne.

Baristas must submit their best latte art videos on the Almond Breeze Latte Art Video Challenge website.

Each week, two video entries from each of the participating territories, Australia, Japan, the United Kingdom, and South Africa, will be selected. These videos will be pitted against each other vying for votes from their peers and customers to win the weekly cash prize of $500.

Votes will be gathered across Instagram, Youtube, Twitter and Facebook. The six baristas who receive the most votes go through to the Finals. Prizes include $1000, $750, $500 for first, second and third-place winners, and the opportunity to compete in the Breezey Masters 2018 final.

The Latte Art Video Challenge, which began in South Africa in 2017, will run alongside Almond Breeze’s Breezey Masters events that are currently happening throughout May, June, July, August and September in Australia.

The Breezey Masters, in its third year, is a latte art competition that lets baristas showcase their skills using Almond Breeze almond milk. Competing baristas are required to make four different patterns – a heart, tulip, rosetta, swan – and a free pour design. Baristas are judged on the quality of their designs, with the added pressure of completing their drinks within a set time period.

To enter The Almond Breeze Latte Art Video Challenge:

Step 1: Get your hands on some Barista Blend.

Step 2: Video your latte art skills. All guidelines are on website. The recommendation is to make it short and creative. *Remember, the Almond Breeze Barista Blend has to feature in the video, an almond milk developed in partnership with baristas, specifically for baristas, and now styled by baristas.

Step 3: Submit your video or Youtube link on the Latte Art Video Challenge website: http://www.latteartvideochallenge.com/australia
