Australia’s Némo Pop has been crowned World Aeropress Champion in Seoul just weeks after earning the Australian crown at Melbourne’s Proud Mary.
The World Championships were the culmination of an Aeropress season that held 230 regional and national events across 70 countries, hosting over 6500 competitors.
Némo, who hails from France and works with APAX Lab and recently crowned Australian Brewers Cup champion Simon Gautherin, finished ahead of runner-up Jan Ahrend from Switzerland and third-place Dharun Vyas from India.
The three judges who presided over the final were 2019 World Barista Champion Jeon Jooyeon, Café Imports Head of Education Dylan Siemens, and Acme Cups Owner Megan Wyper.
Némo’s victory has continued Australia’s strong history in the competition, where he has now followed in the footsteps of past champions including 2022 winner Jibbi Little.
A total of 66 national champions took part in the 2025 World Aeropress Championship.
