Melbourne Italian food emporium Brunetti Classico has whipped up a range of treats for the people of Melbourne to spoil their dads this Father’s Day.

Those who have forgotten to get dad something for Father’s Day can rest easy as Melbourne institution Brunetti Classico has launched a limited-edition hazelnut mousse cake that can be delivered in and around Melbourne in the nick of time.

“If your dad has a sweet tooth, we have him covered this Father’s Day with our Hazelnut Mousse Cake,” said Fabio Angele, Owner and Operator of Brunetti Classico.

“This delectable Father’s Day cake is comprised of coffee cremeaux and salted caramel on a banana sponge, glazed in a vivid yellow with chocolate, hazelnut and coffee bean decoration.”

Fabio will be celebrating the day with his own 91-year-old father, Giorgio Angele, who was recently recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours for his service to the restaurant and hospitality industry.

“Enjoying a slice of cake, or two together, is a tradition my family normally enjoys each Father’s Day afternoon. It’s a great occasion for us all to come together and celebrate the dads in our family,” he says.

Families in Melbourne can visit the Brunetti Classico stores in Carlton and Moonee Poinds to enjoy authentic Italian treats throughout the day, from traditional pastry breakfasts to brunch followed by a slice of the hazelnut mousse cake.
