StreetSmart Australia has named the top contributors from its 2025 CafeSmart campaign, with Campos Coffee and Told You So helping lead the charge in another successful year of raising money for those experiencing homelessness.
Campos recruited a staggering 100 cafés to be named the campaign’s top roaster for 2025, and has been awarded an xBloom Studio, courtesy of CoffeeTools.
“We’ve had a long-standing relationship with CafeSmart and truly admire the impact they make through the transformative power of coffee,” says Campos Green Bean Buyer Lloyd Thom.
“We love the opportunities it creates for meaningful conversations with our café partners and it’s genuinely inspiring to see the whole industry come together to drive positive change.”
Single O, Seven Miles Coffee Roasters, Locale Espresso, and 5 Senses Coffee were named as the other four roasters in this year’s top five.
Told You So, located in the northern Brisbane suburb of North Lakes, was named the top fundraising café in Australia with a contribution of $2324. This year also marked Told You So’s tenth year of participating in CafeSmart.
Kwik Koffee Busselton (Causeway), Yahava KoffeeWorks (Swan Valley), Kwik Koffee Bellevue, and Kwik Koffee Busselton (Frederick St) were also in the top five fundraising cafés.
Pepo Eatery in Hyde Park, Sydney, was named Best New Café, with Rusty Fig, Nice Guy Eddie, Origami Coffee, and Ellen & Rod also receiving recognition.
A total of 823 cafés and 51 roasters took part in this year’s campaign, which marks a new CafeSmart record.
At the time of writing, CafeSmart has reported more than $150,000 raised with donations still to be calculated from more than 300 cafés nationwide.
