Dubai’s Julith Coffee hit the headlines earlier this year when it paid a record-breaking US$30,204 per kilogram (AU$46,304) for a single lot of Washed Geisha coffee at the 2025 Best of Panama auction.

Now, the most expensive coffee ever bought is available for consumers to try at the new roaster’s café location – for the princely sum of US$980 (AU$1500) per espresso shot.

Julith says it plans to sell just 400 cups of the beverage, which was produced by historic Panama estate Hacienda La Esmeralda. The Nido 7 beans earned a score of 98 at the Best of Panama competition.

Serkan Sagsoz, Co-Founder and Head Roaster of Julith, announced the coffee was available on the roaster’s social media channels.

“The wait is finally over. The world’s most celebrated and highest graded coffee of all time has arrived at Julith,” he says.

“It’s like honey, delicate and sweet.

“We felt Dubai was the perfect place for our investment. There are white floral notes like jasmine, citrus flavours like orange and bergamot, and a hit of apricot and peach.”

The Independent has reported one of the 400 cups of the Nido 7 coffee will be saved for Dubai’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Julith made the record-breaking purchase just a week after the business was created in August 2025.

This expensive coffee offering in Dubai has overtaken a recent Guinness World Record for most expensive coffee sold, which was sold by Roasters Specialty Coffee House in September 2025 – also located in Dubai.
