Australia and New Zealand’s HARIO V60 champion, Jason Kim, has travelled to Tokyo to take part in the V60 Brewer’s Cup 2025 against a talented field of international competition winners.

After winning the HARIO x Allpress V60 Championships at Allpress Espresso’s Collingwood roastery in July, just hours after earning his place in the final following his victory in the Melbourne heats, unfortunately he was unable to replicate his first-place finish, but he still put in an incredible effort representing Australia and New Zealand on the world stage.

Jason earned his place in the V60 Brewer’s Cup following heats held in Auckland, Christchurch, Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.

Jason also visited Allpress' roastery in Kiba during the trip.

As part of the trip, Jason also visited Allpress’ Tokyo roastery in Kiba to connect with the local team and the city’s coffee scene.

Allpress Espresso Brand Lead Emma Read expressed her pride in what was a successful Allpress x HARIO campaign over the past few months.

The first HARIO x Allpress V60 Championships truly showed what can happen when passion and community come together,” says Emma.

“From local heats to the world stage, it’s been incredible to see so many people connect through coffee. We’re proud to be part of this growing community — and this is just the beginning.”
