La Marzocco is celebrating after being named Best Coffee Equipment Supplier – Europe at the European Coffee Awards.

The Italian espresso machine manufacturer was honoured during the 2023 European Coffee Symposium, which took place in Barcelona from 27 to 29 November.

“[We have turned] a small, underdog cult player from Florence into a fast-growing and successful traditional coffee equipment brand known the world over,” La Marzocco CEO Guido Bernardinelli said at the Symposium.

Guido and the company’s Managing Directors from Spain and United Kingdom and Ireland, Valter Chiriacò and Paul Kelly respectively, attended the ceremony and proudly accepted the award.

La Marzocco was also the traditional coffee machine sponsor for the Symposium.

The European Coffee Awards, now in their 14th year, bring together the industry’s top leaders each year and the winners are chosen after rigorous analysis by a team of expert analysts and researchers.
