One of La Marzocco’s most iconic espresso machines, the Linea Mini, has been redesigned for the contemporary coffee maker.

The reimagined version, launched on 14 February, is designed to inspire professional baristas and home enthusiasts to craft café-standard espresso from their kitchen countertops, and beyond.

‘Beautiful espresso anywhere’ is the tagline of the updated release from the Italian machine specialist, with the intention to turn every espresso moment into an experience.

Handcrafted in Florence, Italy, the new Linea Mini features advanced workflow elements including Brew-by-Weight scale compatibility to enhance brewing precision, a new two-valve pre-infusion system that offers soft saturation and a self-cleaning flow restrictor, and easy access pump pressure adjustment. This eliminates the need to remove body panels, and helps fine-tune espresso extraction to exact preferences.

Based on the original model, the machine’s updated aesthetic blends tradition with innovation, featuring the Della Pietra Curve and soft-touch accessories to enhance the tactile experience.

Key features include dual boilers and precise PID temperature control to ensure each shot is brewed perfectly, built-in shot timer to monitor extraction precision and consistency, and a cool-touch steam wand with a Peek polymer tip.

The re-imagined Linea Mini also comes with auto backflush and standby mode to optimise energy efficiency, barista lights to illuminate workspaces, a group cap adopted from commercial espresso machines, and rinse mode for efficient cleaning with customisable hot water duration.

Users can connect to the La Marzocco Home App from a smartphone to further customise options and control the experience.

To complement the redesigned machine, the Linea Mini will also be available in a new silver satin colour, replacing the previous grey colour.

Consumers also have the opportunity to match the Linea Mini with La Marzocco’s Pico grinder, available in red, blue, yellow, and grey.
