La Marzocco has released the Florentine Linea Mini, a 2021 special edition mini espresso machine inspired by the Italian regions of Tuscany and Florence. The brand describes these areas as ‘the home of the Renaissance and the birthplace of La Marzocco’.

“Our roots have always served a source of inspiration and thus was born the ‘Florentine’; the second special edition to the La Marzocco Home line,” says La Marzocco. “This line is dedicated to those who want to bring an exceptional cafè experience at home.”

The new Florentine Linea Mini will be exhibited at the HOST Milan 2021 tradeshow and is designed to celebrate the city of Florence.

According to the brand, the machine combines the strength of wood with the elegant touches of brass.

Featuring a custom wood paddle, paddle-cover, and steam knobs that aim to add warm earth tones to any kitchen, the Florentine Linea Mini’s polished brass logo is reminiscent of the golden lily which has been the symbol of Florence for more than 100 years.

The green colour is designed to ‘invoke the feeling of the Tuscan countryside’, known for its olive trees while also paying homage to the elegance of Renaissance palaces.

The Florentine Linea Mini is part of the La Marzocco Home line, and has been created to embody all the style, reliability, and performance of its parent product, the La Marzocco Classic.

Similarly to the classic, the mini features a dual boiler system and integrated brew group that delivers precise temperature and consistency. It also features advanced connectivity features through the La Marzocco Home mobile app.

The La Marzocco Home line was launched in 2014, designed to create niche products for the home barista. Today, it represents a significant portion of business for La Marzocco.

Every year, the Italian manufacturer designs and offers a new special edition range of equipment, that has been uniquely customised and includes exclusive accessories. These are created with a goal to complete and renew the at-home coffee shop experience.

“One of the company’s goals has always been to offer thousands of coffee enthusiasts around the world a unique and professional centrepiece espresso machine, capable of delivering a perfect cup of coffee,” says La Marzocco.
