La Marzocco and Riverina Fresh are back on board as major sponsors of Melbourne International Coffee Expo 2026 (MICE2026), with the coffee machine manufacturer labelling its continued support of the event as an ongoing investment in the Australian coffee community.

After its impressive debut at MICE2025, the Roasters Playground will once again return with the support of La Marzocco and Riverina Fresh at MICE2026.

“It’s important we stand with and show support for the Australian coffee community. It is such a vibrant and unique group of people, and we are proud to be able to contribute with the Roasters Playground activation again next year,” says Head of Marketing at La Marzocco Australia, Jets (Anita) Langlands.

“It was such a buzzing environment this year and we can’t wait to see the brightest lights in our industry showing off their incredible coffee and teams again next year. We may be biased, but the Roasters Playground is the place to be if you visit next year.”

Following a record-breaking attendance at MICE2025, the 2026 event is already gearing up to include new and exciting activations alongside established favourites.

Accompanying a bigger and better Roasters Playground are new initiatives such as MICE at Night, where doors to the expo will remain open late into the evening to enable Melbourne’s café owners and operators to experience it in full force.

Trip to Origin has also emerged as an exciting new feature that will welcome coffee farmers, green bean traders, coffee boards, and embassies from world coffee origin hotspots.

Jets says it’s important for La Marzocco to stand behind events like MICE to support the coffee communities it works with.

“La Marzocco makes a point of establishing branch offices in key coffee influencer cities globally to truly get behind and support the incredible people and communities that make this industry what it is,” she says.

“We have a world-leading coffee community here in Australia and it is worth celebrating. Seeing everyone come together – both coffee enthusiasts and careerists – is so fantastic. There is so much knowledge and fun to be shared in each other’s company.

“We are proud to be a part of supporting this and helping showcase the best of what Australia has to offer – not just the amazing coffee but the distinctive brand of Australian hospitality. It is a privilege and one we don’t take lightly.”
