Italian espresso machine company La Marzocco is bringing back its Out of the Box (OOTB) event to Milan on 18 October.
Since its inception in 2009, OOTB has aimed to be a global touchpoint for those who live and breathe coffee, providing a space to connect, explore, and be inspired.
This year’s edition will be an immersive experience filled with live talks, hands-on workshops, product launches, tastings, and collaborations that blend the best of coffee culture, design, and technology.
Taking place during biennial tradeshow Host Milano, the OOTB event will be hosted not far from the exhibition. Longtime La Marzocco partner and international spare parts provider Nuova Ricambi will join the event, with the team offering educational tips on spare parts and accessories for professional machines.
OOTB 2025 will showcase the latest from La Marzocco and La Marzocco Home, including next-gen grinders, new tech integrations such as the La Marzocco App, Sistema 400, and Consenso, and a range of new gear.
There will also be a variety of panels and talks from voices across coffee, food, design, and sustainability. Topics include: The Rise of Espresso, The Future of Coffee, Scale with Conscience, People & Culture, and Craft & Collaboration.
Speakers include spokespeople from the FAO, World Food Program, La Hacienda Esmeralda, Rosslyn Coffee (London), Rita & Cocktails (Milan), Wilden Herbals, and Porsche.
The celebration of OOTB doesn’t end in Milan and will continue from 20 to 24 October as La Marzocco invites visitors to Accademia del Caffè Espresso in Florence for Accademia Days.
