Australian tea company Origin Tea is partnering with Marco Beverage Systems, a manufacturer of beverage dispensing solutions for the hospitality industry, as part of an exclusive partnership in Australia.

The two companies joined forces at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo, which took place from 17 to 19 August, to demonstrate how to serve a glass of iced tea through the POUR’D drink dispensing system.

“Marco’s purpose is to re-imagine beverage excellence everywhere, which means any beverage in any site is made in the best possible way. POUR’D enables us to deliver on this purpose by offering consistent, stylish, and flexible beverage solutions that create a better experience for everyone when it comes to beverage dispensing,” says Marco Head of Marketing Gemma Kiernan.

“As Australians look for alternative drinks this summer, we’re thrilled to be expanding into the tea market for the first time down under, with a partnership with Origin Tea to dispense their delicious sparkling iced tea.”

Origin Tea offers iced tea syrups in Sneaky Peach, Tropical Kiss, Magic Mango, and Lemon Zest flavours. When combined with POUR’D chilled sparkling water, it can create a sparkling iced tea spritz in seconds.

“Sparkling iced tea is the perfect drink for a hot Australian summer and with more Aussies than ever looking for a refreshing non-alcoholic option that doesn’t compromise on taste, we think Origin Tea’s iced tea spritz is going to be the drink in everyone’s hands this year,” Origin Tea Co-Founder Chris Seaton says.

According to Marco Beverage Systems, unlike the tea flavours and extracts used in many iced teas on the market, Origin Tea’s product is brewed with 20 per cent loose leaf single origin tea from Sri Lanka. The low-sugar product also offers fizz with benefits including a third of the calories and sugar found in common carbonated drinks and the added health benefits of Ceylon tea.
