Aaron Schreder has been appointed as the new National Business Development Manager at Merlo Coffee, building on from his 13-years of experience at the Real Dairy Australia.

As National Business Development Manager, Aaron will be responsible for growing Merlo’s reputation and positioning the company as more than a ‘coffee brand’, but as a ‘coffee roaster’.

Aaron will also focus on increasing relationships between Merlo and national food service distributors.

“I’ve spent the last decade building networks and distribution partnerships, I’m confident of working with companies in what we hope will be a win-win partnership for all,” says Aaron.

Merlo has recently purchased a new Italian roaster for its Eagle farm headquarters, following the brands announcement to expand nationally, starting with the Sydney market.

“We’re entrenched in Queensland and Northern New South Wales, but Sydney is a big target with huge opportunity,” says Aaron.

Once operational, the new roaster has the potential to increase Merlo’s roasted bean production from 25 to 100 tonnes per week.

Established in 1992, Merlo Coffee is a premium coffee supplier to Australian markets.
