MICE organisers have announced the first wave of roasters to appear at the 2025 event, which is set to have the biggest roaster representation to date.

Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) has released the initial lineup of roasters that will appear at its inaugural Roasters Playground, a new feature of the international tradeshow taking place at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 20 to 22 March.

Supported by La Marzocco, Riverina Fresh, and Milklab, the new feature aims to give roasters of all shapes and sizes the opportunity to put their products on the world stage. Participating roasters only need to bring their coffee and a skilled barista to host the tasting sessions, which will take place in time slots throughout the expo.

In an Instagram post, MICE announced the lineup of 24 roasters, which includes:

  • Clark Street Coffee Roasters
  • Small Batch Roasting Co
  • Double Roasters
  • Single O Specialty Coffee
  • Boston Bean Coffee Company
  • Change Coffee by World Vision
  • Kindred Coffee
  • 36th Parallel Coffee Roasters
  • Honeybird Coffee
  • Stitch Coffee
  • Sample Coffee Roasters
  • Path Melbourne
  • First Love Coffee
  • The Grounds Coffee Roastery
  • Haven Coffee
  • White Horse Coffee Roasters
  • Dawn Patrol Coffee Roasters
  • Everyday Coffee
  • Craftwork Roasting Co
  • ACoffee
  • Bench Coffee Co
  • Gypsy Espresso
  • Prodigal Coffee Roasters
  • Inglewood Coffee Roasters

“We know roasters are the heartbeat of the Australian coffee industry and they deserve to be front and centre at Australia’s only dedicated coffee expo,” says Lauren Chartres, Show Director of MICE.

“Thanks to the generosity of our partners at La Marzocco, roasters are able to access MICE without having to sacrifice too much time spent away from their roastery or cafe.”

Returning for its 12th edition, MICE is a vital platform that brings together café proprietors, roasters, equipment producers, service providers, and others to foster genuine business prospects. Across the three-day tradeshow, MICE offers unparalleled features where education, innovation, and experience all collide under one roof.

The last remaining slots at the Roasters Playground are still available. Find out more or enquire here.
