Nespresso has celebrated 30 years in Australia with the opening of its new Nespresso Lab at its Pitt Street Boutique in Sydney.
Situated in a multi-story heritage building on the renowned shopping strip, the new Lab includes a retail space on the ground floor, with the second level dedicated to coffee exploration and elevated experiences.
A large bespoke artwork titled ‘Sea, Sky Trees’ by NSW artist and proud Wiradjuri woman, Hannah Lange takes centre stage and pays homage to the local landscape
The Sydney Nespresso Lab will also host events and partnerships, including a partnership with Gelato Messina and Shadow Baking to create a new iced coffee pairings series.
Customers will be able to experience complimentary treats including iced lattes recipes by Nespresso, bespoke gelato flavours by Messina, baked treats by Shadow Baking, and Nespresso mocktails by Matt Whiley and Luke Whearty.
“We’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new Pitt Street Boutique and the launch of The Nespresso Lab. It is a timely move as we celebrate 40 incredible years as a brand, and 30 here in Australia,” says Managing Director of Nespresso ANZ, Stefan Vermeulen.
“We wanted our Australian flagship to reflect all we stand for, with our values of quality, hospitality, care, and innovation woven through the design elements and experiences we offer.”
The opening of the Pitt Street Boutique has followed the closure of Nespresso’s George Street Boutique in September 2025.
