Specialty coffee roaster Pablo & Rusty’s has partnered with Airscape to add a branded canister to its collection of brewing gear available on its web store.
The storage container is designed to keep coffee fresher for longer. With a patented airtight lid, the Airscape canister removes air from the container, preventing oxygen, humidity, and UV rays impacting the flavour and aroma of the beans within.
“We reckon great coffee deserves quality storage to keep it at its best. So, we’ve partnered with Airscape to bring you the ultimate coffee storage solution,” says Chris Tate, Operations Manager of Pablo & Rusty’s.
“Oxygen is coffee’s worst enemy and over time, it can affect the coffee’s flavour and freshness. The patented Airscape lid features a two-way valve, so when it’s pressed down like a plunger inside the canister, it actively removes oxygen to keep coffee fresher for longer.”
The canister is available in 250-gram and one-kilogram sizes and is made from durable stainless steel, making it food-grade, BPA-free, and resistant to dents and scratches. It also feature a non-stick rubber base to keep it secure on café benches or kitchen worktops.
“It’s incredibly versatile. It’s not just ideal for coffee beans, you can use it to store tea, flour, sugar, spices and more,” says Chris.
“It also promotes sustainability, as it’s easily refillable and reusable, reducing packaging waste and coffee waste by extending shelf life.”
The Airscape canister can store both whole and ground beans.
