Ona Coffee’s Sasa Sestic, World Barista Champion 2015, is offering competition masterclasses ahead of the ASCA Northern Region Coffee Championships.

Extraction Artisan Coffee in Queensland will host the event on 29 September.

This is a chance to learn from one of the best baristas in the world. Sasa will spend three hours taking participants through what it takes to win on regional, national and international level. This includes:

• How to choose coffee for competition (including tasting)
• How to build your presentation
• How to build your signature drink and
• The Technical Score Sheet (focus on elements where competitors easily loose points)

The event is ideal for baristas wanting to ask a professional competition-related questions prior to this year’s regional event.

Tickets must be purchased ahead of the event.

Tickets for ASCA members are $100. To access this discount, go to the Members Area at the top right of the web site, click on the Events button and look for the “Learn from a World Barista Champion” product. Please check for the Queensland Dates.

Non-member tickets are $150. To puchase, click here.

Location: Extraction Artisan Coffee, 7/3375 Pacific HIghway, Slacks Creek, Queensland.

The event will start at 6pm.
