The Alternative Dairy Co. has released a podcast series ‘The Local Way’, with episodes streaming every Friday.
The first series will celebrate women in the industry from roasters to baristas, talking to women in coffee who are breaking barriers, creating change, and shaping the future of the industry.
Over five episodes host Laura Picarrdi speaks to Michaela Gerrard from Veneziano Coffee Roasters, Brodie Roberts from Proud Mary’s, Melita Farraro from Star Entertainment Group, Emma Markland-Webster from the New Zealand Speciality Coffee Association and Emily Oak and Lucy Ward from St Ali.
The Alternative Dairy Co. has partnered with hospitality relief charity TipJar to donate 15 barista training courses and contribute funding to the underprivileged.
According to The Alternative Dairy Co., the podcast can be streamed while setting up a café and is intended for devoted customers and to inspire listeners.
