Melbourne coffee roaster The Bean Cartel has announced plans to expand its operations after securing a new warehouse facility at a prime business-park location.

It comes as the company aims to elevate its operations and customer experience, with the intention to develop its new location into a state-of-the-art dispatch centre.

“The Bean Cartel has always been dedicated to delivering exceptional coffee experiences. This expansion marks a new chapter in our journey, allowing us to serve our customers better and share our passion for coffee more widely,” says The Bean Cartel National Sales Manager Melissa Glentis.

Commissioned to meet the evolving needs of its clientele, it’s hoped the new facility will enhance the company’s production capabilities as it begins a journey to transform its roastery over the coming months.

“Next month, we will welcome six two-tonne silos from Italy, significantly boosting our storage and processing capacity. These advanced silos represent our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of coffee quality and freshness,” says Melissa.

In addition, the roaster has unveiled plans to design a new retail outlet showroom, offering customers the opportunity to explore its range of premium coffee products in an immersive and engaging environment.

The company will also start on the construction of its own public cupping lab, which will become a dedicated space for coffee enthusiasts and professionals to participate in cupping sessions, and learn about coffee tasting techniques.
