Melbourne-based beverage company Arkadia has launched Chai Concentrate, a slow-brewed natural chai designed for convenient use.

As consumer preferences evolve, many cafés are expanding their offerings to include a variety of chai options to appeal to a wider customer base. However, for takeaway cafés, serving loose-leaf sticky chai can present challenges, including extended steeping times and the added complexity of cleaning strainers, jugs, and sinks.

“In response, Arkadia has created Arkadia Chai Concentrate, delivering the rich, slow-brewed taste of sticky chai in seconds – without the mess. Simply add hot or cold milk for a smooth, full-flavoured chai experience that keeps service fast and customers happy. For cafés looking to enhance efficiency without compromising on quality, Arkadia Chai Concentrate is the ultimate solution,” says Brand Manager Kylie Chan.

Arkadia Chai Concentrate is made by steeping a blend of whole spices to create a balanced and aromatic concentrate. It’s described as an easy way to serve high-quality sticky chai drinks with minimal preparation – whether hot, iced, or in a chai cocktail.

Additionally, traditional chai brewing can require up to five minutes of steeping to achieve full flavour. Arkadia Chai Concentrate is designed to eliminate this step, enabling baristas and café owners to provide a quick and efficient beverage service, which is said to be ideal for high-volume cafés.

Ramona Culda, Head of Brands, says that with more than a quarter of all café beverage orders in Australia being takeaway, Arkadia understand that speed and quality are crucial for café owners.

“That’s why we created Arkadia Chai Concentrate – to help cafés serve high-quality, loose-leaf sticky chai-style beverages quickly, efficiently, and with ease, ensuring a seamless experience for both baristas and customers,” she says.

The concentrate is available in a one litre bottle, with each pack providing up to 33 servings.

Arkadia Chai Concentrate is available through Foodservice Distributors & Coffee Roasters. To enquire about wholesale visit the Arkadia website.
