Due to overwhelming demand, the Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) will release additional places for competitors wanting to compete in the Cup Tasters Regional Championships.
ASCA will increase the number of positions to 16 in each regional competition.
Tickets for these additional places will go on sale at 11:00am Australian Eastern Standard time on 23 July on the event pages for Southern, Central and Northern Region events on Monday.
The four 2019 regional championships will take place on the following dates.
15 – 16 September: Northern Region Championship, Veneziano Coffee West End
13 – 14 October: Southern Region Championship, Criteria Coffee
27 – 28 October: Central Region Championship, Specialty Coffee Curators
3 – 4 November: Western Region Championship, Double Shot Festival
It has also been announced that the 2019 ASCA Western Region Cup Tasters Championships will be held on 19October at Howdy Coffee, Western Australia.
The Australian Coffee in Good Spirits competition will take place at the 2018 ASCA Symposium on 29 July.
Positions for this event are currently filled, however expressions of interest can be forwarded to info@aasca.com
Judges are also wanted. If you’ve previously judged at an ASCA Regional Championship or National Final, register to judge Australia’s best mixologists in Sydney.
