The winners of the 2025 Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) Australian Coffee Championships, held in Melbourne at Criteria Coffee on 1 to 2 February and Proud Mary Coffee on 1 to 2 March, have been announced.

The 2025 competition was a year of reigning champions, with Victor Vu of Ona Coffee (Latte Art), Frankie Shi of Infinity Coffee Roasters (Cup Tasters), and Tom Hutchins of Code Black Coffee (Brewers Cup) holding onto their 2024 titles. Three-time former Coffee in Good Spirits Champion Danny Wilson of Ona Coffee earned the crown for a fourth time, while Ning Chi (Amber) Cheng of Code Black Coffee won the Coffee Roasting Championship for the first time.

“It was a privilege to be crowned as a champion for the third time. It’s actually like dreaming,” says Victor Vu. “When I look back, it was a long journey and I really appreciate everyone and every moment that made me become the one today – become a coffee ambassador. Thanks to all of you.”
