BioPak has announced the return of its OzHarvest Christmas cups which will feature a limited-edition Christmas design with a QR code so coffee drinkers can donate directly to OzHarvest.

Available for the entirety of November, all eight-ounce and 12-ounce cups – available in both single and double wall – will come with the code.

BioPak will also donate five per cent of the profits from all Christmas Cup sales in November to OzHarvest to further support their mission to rescue surplus food and deliver it to people in need.

BioPak Co-Founder Richard Fine says the company’s partnership with OzHarvest benefits all involved.

“We’re proud to continue our long-term partnership with OzHarvest to support Australians facing food insecurity,” says Richard.

“By simply enjoying a coffee, people can fund meals for those who need them most.”

BioPak and OzHarvest have partnered since 2013, and this year’s cups are certified industrially compostable.

OzHarvest Joint Head of Impact Hally Lara says the impact the Christmas BioCups have in raising awareness and support is significant.

“We’re excited to see the return of these festive cups, which not only brighten up cafés and restaurants this festive season, but also provide a simple way for everyone to make a real difference,” says Hally.

“Every cup sold helps us provide more meals to people in Australia in need.”
