Felix Chapman-Petrone of Patio Coffee Roasters has won the 2019 Adelaide Breezey Masters, held at Kinetto Coffe in the CBD in June.
The final four also included Natalie Scaife of Grinders Coffee Roasters, Georgina Lumb of Veneziano Coffee Roasters, and Tang Yi of Corner Store Café.
The evening saw a full house of 24 competitors battle it out at the packed-out venue with the hope of securing a spot at the grand finals in Sydney in September. Other baristas to take part included last year’s Adelaide champ Alex Whigham along with several of his colleagues from the The Front Page Cafe, and representatives from My Kingdom for a Horse, Coffee Amigo, and Muffin Break.
India Wilkes of The Rogue and Rasca travelled in from Port Lincoln with help from a travel voucher as part of Almond Breeze’s Breezey Travel voucher program.
The next Breezey Master will take place in Perth at The Faculty at North Bridge Coffee Roasters on 16 July.
