Four-time Irish Barista Champion Colin Harmon will return to Australia from 7 – 15 March.

In his second visit to our shores in the past six months, Espresso Mechanics is bringing Colin of 3fe in Dublin, back to Oz for a whirlwind trip of Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and New Zealand.

“Colin is a café owner, World Barista Champion (WBC) finalist, business owner, innovator, and all round genuine guy. Having him here allows us – including myself – to learn from someone who holds no punches but educates from the heart. We always welcome Colin back to instil the next chapter in his series of ongoing learning,” Geoff Michelmore of Espresso Mechanics said.

During his trip, Colin will be visiting Nuova Simonelli and Victoria Arduino customers to promote its range of machines, and connect with customers.

First up, Colin visited Bonissimo in Perth on 7 March in a private training event.

He then made his way to Sydney on 8 March to visit Schibello Caffé, before meeting Pablo & Rusty’s team to promote a series of educational talks on café efficiency.

On 10 March Colin will fly to Brisbane to visit Cleanskin, Veneziano Coffee Roasters, and Pablo & Rustry’s.

Veneziano will invite its Brisbane customers to The Up Close with Colin Harmon event on 10 March. Attendees will get to hang out with the WBC finalist to discuss competition preparation, café operations, marketing, innovation and trends.

From 12 – 15 March Collin will be the star of a VIP event in Melbourne, working with Five Senses on market trends and technology developments, and ending with a table discussion at Veneziano Coffee Roasters with guest Pieta Luina from the United States.

Before heading back home to Dublin in preparation for the WBC in June, Colin’s last visit will be to New Zealand for more festivities and educational talks.
