La Marzocco has announced that it will host the 2024 edition of its signature event, Out of the Box, in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 28 June.

Taking place at Prags Boulevard 49b, 2300 from 2.30pm, the event will showcase La Marzocco’s latest products and technologies while also demonstrating proven techniques and new innovations within the coffee industry.

Attendees can expect to hear panel talks on: the history of nordic coffee with Tim Wendelboe, Klaus Thomsen (Coffee Collective), Anne Lunell (Koppi Roasters), and Patrik Rolf (April Coffee); sustainability with coffee buyers by Amanda Caudill; and a discussion on coffee pairings with James Hennebry and others.

On-site competitions and activities will also take place and include a professional tea evaluation workshop with the European Specialty Tea Association, a high-end Robusta degustation, a caffeine sensory experience, espresso tasting, and a session on brewing the perfect moka with Accademia del Caffè Espresso’s Coffee Specialists.

Guests will also get a chance to experience Accademia del Café Espresso through an immersive Metaverse and can sit down and relax at the Accademia’s lounge, where coffees from various Scandinavian roasters and international brands will be ground on La Marzocco’s new Swan commercial grinder.

In partnership with Specialized, bikes will also be available to explore the city and local café scene.
