Mazzer has expanded its portfolio of accessories with the new Magnetic Dosing Cup, designed to streamline workflow and improve consistency for professional baristas.

Now available in Australia through Coffee Works Express (CWE), the Magnetic Dosing Cup can be retrofitted to a selection of Mazzer grinders.

This, according to the company, enables baristas to easily switch between using a traditional portafilter and a dosing cup – one of its standout features.

“This innovation underscores Mazzer’s commitment to designing adaptable, barista-focused tools that elevate precision and efficiency in the coffee preparation process,” said Mazzer, one of the world’s most reputable companies in coffee grinding solutions.

Key features include a magnetic stainless steel design for perfect alignment under the spout; hands-free grinding activation with Dosing Cup mode; ergonomic form factor ensuring a secure and comfortable grip; compatibility with ø58 mm portafilters; and capacity of up to 30 grams.

In terms of its compatibility, the Magnetic Dosing Cup comes standard with the Mini g, Kony g and Super Jolly g and can also be installed on the following models: Super Jolly V Pro Electronic, Kony S Electronic, Major V Electronic, Major VP Electronic, Robur S Electronic, and Kold S Electronic.

Founded in 1948, Mazzer designs and manufactures coffee grinders and burrs in its factory near Venice, Italy.

“By introducing the Magnetic Dosing Cup, Mazzer continues to build on its tradition of precision engineering and user-centred design,” the company said.
