The Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) has announced winners for the 2021 Product Innovation Awards, in the categories of Ancillary Electrical Equipment, Coffee Accessories, and Coffee Preparation Equipment.
Flow coffee telemetry system has won the Ancillary Electrical Equipment award for its ability to integrate with espresso machines, provide feedback on every shot poured and help baristas improve their performance.
Specialty Beverage Station won the award for Coffee Preparation Equipment. The SB1200 offers the customer a highly versatile modular system and flexibility combined with tried-and-tested components and unique innovations from Franke.
JOCO Aroma Lid was awarded the Product Innovation Award for Coffee Accessories. The Lid is designed to channel aroma at every sip, delivering key tasting notes otherwise missed using conventional vessels. The product is said to be the world’s first 100 per cent plastic-free click-fit closure featuring Steam Management functionality.
The MICE Product Innovation awards encompass both 2020 and 2021 entries, aiming to recognise the best innovations by MICE2021 exhibitors.
