Ona Coffee Melbourne in Brunswick is hosting the Ona Melbourne Latte Art Smackdown, in collaboration with Riverina Fresh, on 27 May at 6pm.
Reigning Australian Latte Art Champion Victor Vu will share his experience in the competition and what it took to get to the top at the smackdown.
Thirty-two competitors will go head to head in a ladder-style elimination with 16 sets in the first round until only one latte artist is left standing.
The smackdown will use official competition latte art cups so competitor can build an idea of what is used on the World Latte Art Championship stage.
Riverina Fresh Gold milk, which has been specially developed for coffee will be used by each of the contestants.
Each competitor will also be using a Breville Dual Boiler home machine to create their coffee, with the smackdown winner taking home a Breville of their own.
Entries in the Ona Melbourne Latte Art Smackdown are completely booked, however, spectator tickets are still available.
