More than 10 years since its first release, coffee roaster and café company Single O’s Sugarplum blend is returning for the 2025 festive season.

This time, the annual release is bringing together a Natural Honduras from Finca Caviflor and Washed Kenya from Gichatha, delivering notes of sweet fruits and sparkling acidity.

The result is a layered taste of Christmas suited to all brew methods, hot or cold, and pairs perfectly with any festive drink, the company said.

To mark the occasion, Single O is collaborating with Marrickville gelateria Cow and the Moon to create a signature Latte gelato made with the Sugarplum blend, available in-store at Cow and the Moon.

Mike Brabant, CEO of Single O, says the company always looks forward to Sugarplum that come with a RRP of $27 for 250g and $92 for 1kg.

“With this year’s blend, we’re going full liquid Christmas with some fresh twists, drips, and drizzles of Sugarplum to Surry Hills, Newstead and beyond,” he says.

“We’re running it on espresso, hot and cold filter on batch tap, along with a crazy Spiced Spider we’ve worked up with Sugarplum gelato from the legends at Cow and The Moon.”

Single O Surry Hills and Newstead will serve a special Sugarplum Spiced Spider drink, featuring a house-made spiced apple soda, coffee gelato, and a cherry on top.

The café will feature Sugarplum on-tap for the duration of the festive season.

Plus, Single O has also teamed up with La Marzocco Home for an exclusive competition, with each purchase of 1kg Sugarplum beans, Sugarplum gift kit, or bundle from Single O’s online store earning an entry into the draw to win a Linea Micro home espresso machine (valued at $5,999 RRP).

The 2025 Sugarplum blend will be available to purchase via Single O’s website, Single O Surry Hills and Single O Newstead cafés, and through wholesale café partners nationwide from 13 November 2025.
