Reusable cup brand Huskee is encouraging cafés to hero drinks in their summer menus with HuskeeRenew Clear cups, designed to showcase iced lattes, cold brews, matchas and other layered drinks in all their Instagram-able glory.

As summer arrives, Australia’s café scene shifts its focus towards refreshing, visually striking beverages for the warmer months.

“For cafés, it’s the perfect opportunity to delight customers while showcasing their seasonal menu. But the drink itself is only half the story, with packaging playing a key role in bringing a memorable drinking experience to life,” the company says.

A clear choice for summer drinks

HuskeeRenew Clear is described as “the perfect choice to elevate the way customers experience iced and cold beverages”.

Its transparent design – certified 50% recycled plastic – highlights layered drinks, giving cups a premium look that matches the taste.

“For café owners, this means that drinks don’t just taste good; they look good, too,” says Huskee, which joined sustainable packing company BioPak in 2024.

“Visual appeal drives engagement, encouraging social shares, repeat visits, and building a stronger connection to the café brand. A recent study by Toast also highlighted that 62% of respondents sometimes check a restaurant’s social media before deciding to dine there.”

Sustainability meets style

Huskee designs functional, stylish products that use recycled and waste materials, helping cafés reduce reliance on single-use cups.

Through Huskee’s Australian-first scalable reuse solution, Borrow by Huskee, cup exchange program HuskeeSwap, and ‘end-of-life’ initiative HuskeeLoop, cafés can serve summer drinks in reusable cups that customers can feel good and proud about using, keeping both the planet and the brand top of mind.

Co-branding for a personal touch

To add further meaning, cafés and businesses can take it one step further with Huskee’s co-branding program – an ideal Christmas gift.

“Customising HuskeeSteel or HuskeeOriginal lids with a brand’s logo or design not only elevates the summer beverage experience but also creates a lasting, memorable brand touchpoint,” Huskee says.

“With full creative freedom and a low minimum order of 12 units per design, it’s easy for cafés to refresh their summer offerings or launch special seasonal campaigns. The process is quick too, with co-branded cups ready within as little as two weeks of submitting an enquiry, making them perfect for the summer rush.”

Maximising the summer season

With a hot Aussie summer ahead, the company says HuskeeRenew Clear allows cafés to present every drink at its best.

“And by combining sustainability, style, and functionality, customers can enjoy every sip knowing that their local café is championing circular solutions to help fight the war on waste.”
