Suntory Boss Coffee has relaunched its Iced Mocha in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) following extensive demand from consumers for the return of the popular beverage.

It has been relaunched “with a new and improved recipe blending bold flash brewed coffee and indulgent chocolate flavour”, according to the company.

Head of Market Execution at Suntory Boss Coffee & Future Brands Morgan Loveridge says the reintroduction of Iced Mocha will make the brand’s entire range more appealing to consumers.

“The new and improved Iced Mocha has proven to be a hit in taste tests with a purchase intent of 80 per cent,” says Morgan.

“Consumers are saying that the addition of Iced Mocha makes the entire Suntory Boss Coffee range more appealing.

“Loyal Suntory Boss Coffee fans have been patiently waiting for the return of Iced Mocha, and it has been the most highly requested product on our social media channels.”

Suntory Boss initially launched in the ANZ market in 2019, and first introduced its Iced Mocha range in 2023.

It states the new Iced Mocha is perfect for “workers, university students, and the like”.

It has rejoined the full product range which includes Iced Double Espresso, Iced Latte, Iced Vanilla Latte, Iced Caramel Latte, and Iced Long Black flavours.

The brand currently holds the largest canned coffee market share in Australia and New Zealand. It holds 52.8 per cent of the Australian market and 69.5 per cent of the market in New Zealand, according to MarketEdge data.
