Toby’s Estate released its Butterscotch Pudding Blend on 30 November, just in time for the Christmas season.

This limited edition blend comprises coffee from Myanmar, Brazil and El Salvador.

“When creating a flavour-focused blend like this one, it has to be unique and special” says Nich Rae, Head of Coffee at Toby’s Estate.

“This is why Myanmar was chosen, not only for its flavour forward style, but its unique character, and the fact that Toby’s Estate are the only roaster bringing it into Australia.”

Once Toby’s Estate settled on its base coffee, it needed to bring in a support structure to provide strength when Butterscotch Pudding is paired with milk, as well as to contribute the Christmas flavours.

Nich says Brazil was an obvious choice, bringing classic notes of chocolates and raisins that pair well with the cherry, whisky, and strawberry flavours of the Myanmar.

“To complete the structure of the blend, we added coffee from El Salvador because of its unique quality. This coffee is the icing to our cake, contributing unmatched sweetness to round off the flavours of the other two coffees. This coffee is set to be an absolute killer over the festive season,” Nich says.
