Specialty coffee roaster Toby’s Estate has announced the launch of its latest limited-edition coffee, Strawberry Sundae.

The Colombian coffee is the newest addition to the Sydney roaster’s Flavour Savour series, which aims to use innovative flavours to introduce people to the world of specialty coffee.

“For our Flavour Savour series, we work closely with our Colombian coffee producer Rodrigo Sánchez at Finca Monteblanco. Rodrigo uses his own processing method to deliver unique coffee profiles that deliver intense flavours. We then roast and blend the different beans to bring out these amazing blends,” says Toby’s Estate Head Roaster Danny Cao.

The tasting notes of the new coffee include strawberries and cream, neapolitan ice cream, Fruit Loops, and cherry.

“For this limited-edition release, we used a combination of marzipan, vanilla, and pink champagne to create our flavour profile, and just like all that have come before, our new Strawberry Sundae coffee tastes best served with milk to really bring out the flavours,” says Danny.

Previous releases in the Toby’s Estate Flavour Savour series include Butterscotch Pudding, Banana Split, Crème Brulé, Blueberry Crumble, and Pandan Waffle. Strawberry Sundae is available to buy in 200 gram and 1kilogram bags online and from selected Toby’s cafés from Monday 15 July.

Founded in the Sydney suburb of Woolloomooloo, Toby’s Estate has been brewing specialty coffee since 1997. Its core principles are based on consistency in roasting and developing innovative taste profiles.

Over its almost three-decade history, the company has cultivated a team of over 100 coffee enthusiasts, sensory experts, and baristas to help continue its work in discovering new flavours, blends, and beans.
