Veneziano Coffee Roasters will open its new Melbourne café to the public on Monday 30 July.

Located on River Street in Richmond, coffee lovers and enthusiasts will be treated to a brand-new 80 seat dining space within Veneziano’s headquarters, roastery and barista training studio all under the one roof.

“Our new flagship store will push the boundaries of coffee and hospitality, as a testing ground for our new products,” Managing Director Craig Dickson says. “It presents the perfect opportunity to showcase the brand as an end-to-end specialty experience for coffee lovers and those keen to learn more.”

The all-encompassing specialty coffee experience at Veneziano Coffee Richmond begins the moment guests walk through the front doors with its entire roastery operation in full view upon entry.

“There will be an increased level of access and exposure to what we do and how we do it, particularly with the range of barista courses we’re offering in our training studio,” Craig says.

Guests will have access to the training studio and cupping lab, alongside an open and interactive micro-roastery to watch the roasting process while enjoying a cup of coffee.

The café’s brew bar will hero the coffee and serve Veneziano’s signature Bond St blend alongside a seasonal rotation of selected microlots.

The café will offer a contemporary menu sourced from seasonal ingredients and local suppliers with breakfast and lunch available as both dine in and takeaway options.

“We talk about sharing our love of specialty coffee with the community, and this space provides the perfect opportunity to do that and connect with people who care about the industry as much as we do,” Craig says.

Founded in 2000, Veneziano Coffee Roasters has operated out of its River street headquarters since 2014, roasting and supplying specialty coffee to café nationally.

Veneziano Coffee Richmond is located at 16 River Street, Richmond, Victoria, 3121.
