The Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place at 5:30pm on 12 October at Criteria Coffee in Port Melbourne.

ASCA will livestream the AGM using a platform that will also allow members to vote where appropriate. ASCA says this format will allow inclusivity for all interstate members who can’t make the meeting in person.

Any persons interested in nominating candidates for board positions must submit Appendix 2 of the Constitution available here. Nominations must be made in writing and signed by two financial members of the association, with written consent of the candidate.

Proxy votes must be provided in writing using Appendix 3 of the Constitution available here.

All nominations and proxy vote forms must be sent to info@aasca.com by 5:30pm on 9 October. Only paying members of the association are allowed to vote.

Business to be discussed at the AGM includes confirming minutes of the last AGM, board reports on activities for the preceding year, electing office bearers and ordinary board members, and receiving and considering the financial report.

If there are other items of business a member desires to bring before the AGM, notice must be received in writing to the Secretary at info@aasca.com by 5:30pm on 26 September.

To allow ASCA to effectively plan for bandwidth, email info@aasca.com by 4 October to join the meeting via internet. Full details will be emailed one week before the meeting.
