Renowned Melbourne based coffee brand Axil Coffee Roasters is now stocking Califia Farms Oat Barista Blend in their local cafés and wider network of wholesale distributors.

“Choosing the right milk, that compliments and showcases the identity of our coffee, has always been our focus,” says Anthony Douglas, Coffee Training Manager for Axil Coffee Roasters.

“On top of this it needs to be easy to work with to provide the best visual and tactile experience for our customers. Califia Farms oat milk ticks all the boxes, making it the obvious choice for us.”

According to Dan Kaplan, National Business Manager for Califia Farms Australia, the whole world has fallen in love with oat milk.

“Last year sales increased by 686 per cent in the [United States] alone, and Australians can’t get enough of it either – even those who normally drink dairy. Made from a sustainable grain, oat milk is one of the most environmentally friendly milks on the market that’s kind to animals too,” Dan says.

“Our Califia Oat Barista Blend also foams beautifully, is super creamy and has a delicious taste that perfectly complements coffee, making it an ideal dairy-free option for lattes and more.”

Califia’s Oat Barista Blend is made from whole grain rolled oats and is completely unsweetened with no added sugar, gums, dairy, or soy.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Axil Coffee Roasters. As two high quality, premium brands, the Califia Farms – [the] Axil partnership is highly complementary and aligned on values. We are so excited that our Oat Barista will now be available in flagship Axil locations such as Hawthorn, Chadstone and Melbourne Central,” adds Dan.

Over in South Australia, leading convenience retailer On the Run (OTR) is also offering Califia Farms Oat Barista Blend as a new plant-based milk option to all their C Coffee customers in more than 155 locations, and at no extra charge for customers who prefer non-dairy milk.

“OTR has always been committed to providing our C Coffee customers with the highest quality barista-made coffee experience. We have offered a choice of non-dairy milk alternatives at no extra charge to all our guests for the last 20 years, including soy, almond, and lactose-free milk,” says Natalie Dalbo, OTR’s Head of Food and Beverage.

“We are excited to extend OTR’s milk range to include Califia Farms Oat Barista milk to meet the needs of our guests seeking the delicious taste of oat milk with their locally roasted C Coffee at OTR.”

According to Dan Kaplan, National Business Manager for Califia Farms Australia, they’re equally excited about the new OTR offering.

“We’re delighted to be partnering with such a respected South Australian brand that provides such high-quality coffee and service, reflecting the values of Califia Farms,” says Dan.

“With OTR’s numerous locations, now everyone in the state will have the chance to enjoy our premium oat milk, that has no added sugar, with their daily coffee! For extra convenience, our 1L cartons of Oat Barista Blend will also be available for OTR customers to purchase and take away to enjoy at home.”
