The New Zealand Specialty Coffee Association (NZSCA) Recognition Awards will be held on the evening prior the Annual General Meeting (AGM), on the 22 May, 2019 at Sherwood, Queenstown.
The NZSCA Recognition Awards recognises and acknowledges individuals within the New Zealand community that give back to the coffee industry.
There are four categories available for recognition: Lifetime Achievement, On-Going Contribution, Development Award, and Friend of NZSCA.
The Lifetime Achievement Award is a category for individuals who have made a significant contribution to the New Zealand coffee industry.
The On-Going Contribution Award is in recognition of an individuals’ outstanding on-going contribution to the NZSCA and the NZ Coffee industry. It recognises those who have consistently dedicated time and knowledge to make a lasting impact on the industry and association.
The Development Award is for an individual in recognition of their contribution to developing a NZSCA project and the NZ coffee industry as a whole.
Friend of the NZSCA Award recognises an independent individual for their personal contribution to NZSCA.
The AGM will comprise of a President’s report, Treasurer’s report, presentations from the committee Chairs in Events, Professional Development and Membership and presentations from the Guild, where they will discuss the achievements of the NZSCA recipients as well as new initiatives for the coming year.
